I've owned a 1960 BMW R50 since 1974! Fully restored in 1975 (new crankshaft), it has only been driven once or twice a year for short distances. I maintain it myself and it's at home, warm and dry, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. The engine runs perfectly. New battery. The tyres are in very good condition, and the chrome parts and pots show no signs of rust. Leather sleeves and apron for winter use. Two-seater saddle available, as well as many other parts.
