Description
1985 Porsche 911 3. 2 Cabriolet WTL (M491) This Porsche 911 Cabrio was originally delivered on 23 July 1985 with the rare M491 (WTL) option. WTL stands for Werks Turbo Look, factory-supplied Turbo screens, Turbo brakes and Turbo suspension. So it's actually a full Turbo version, but without the Turbo engine; instead, the WTL is fitted with the powerful and reliable 3. 2 Carrera engine. The engine was overhauled in 2017 for $12, 000 and there are also several invoices for the car. This is a fully matching numbers car, the engine and gearbox are both matching numbers and are therefore still the original ones the car left the factory with in 1985. Body and paint: The body is in immaculate condition. The car has a good paint finish and still has a nice shine. Also presented here in the original Indischrot colour palette with a black soft top and champagne leather upholstery. The soft top is still very neat and the car also has a tonneau cover. Interior: Overall, the car's interior is still very neat. The Champagne leather sports seats are electrically height-adjustable. The leather seats still look well cared for with normal signs of wear consistent with the age of the car. The carpet and door panels also still look neat with normal signs of wear. Mechanical: The 911 is mechanically sound. The engine runs and drives well. The car recently received Dutch registration and was also fully road tested at the time. Mechanically, the car is fully compliant with the requirements of the Dutch CT. The Porsche has also been adapted to European specifications, including the fitting of European headlights. In addition to the rare WTL option, this 911 convertible is also equipped with cruise control, sports seats and central locking. The official Porsche birth certificate is also present with the car. All this can be seen here and can of course be sent if you are interested. Currently with a Dutch number plate and a valid MOT. The car can be seen in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
