This 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500 is one of a reported 1, 020 fastback examples produced for the model year, and it was delivered new to Sanders Motor Co. in Raleigh, North Carolina. The car is finished in Lime Gold over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 428ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ 10-spoke wheels, a tilt-away steering column, a Philco AM radio, power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, and the Interior Décor and Visibility Group packages.
