One of many Vauxhalls exported to Australia in the 1920's, the Vauxhall was found in the 1970's in the Australian outback in very complete condition, but the 'Kingston' bodywork was in poor condition. Restoration began in the 1990s, including the construction of a new body in the style of Vauxhall Velox 30/ 98. The engine was rebuilt and upgraded by an engineer to 30/ 98 specification; 98 bore, 30/ 98 camshaft profile, new cam followers, modern connecting rods, new dished pistons. Revised gearbox with new bearings and close ratio gears The car has; 4 wheel brakes with the reniform housing on the front wheels, original CAV lights and parking lights plus CAV control panel This Vauxhall is a good alternative to a 30/ 98, with plenty of space for the (tall) driver and passengers This is a very nice and impressive car with a powerful engine, I used the car last season for many events and rallies.
