Lot 207
1993 Ducati 904cc 900SS
Registration no. L951 KVV
Chassis no.
Powered by a 904cc air-cooled, desmodromic twin-cylinder engine, the 900SS was known for its distinctive sound and impressive performance. The engine was capable of producing around 80 horsepower, offering exhilarating acceleration and top speeds that made it a favourite for riders who sought a balance between daily usability and thrilling sportbike performance. Its lightweight trellis frame and well-balanced suspension allowed for precise handling, making the 900SS a joy to ride on twisty roads or race tracks. In the early years of the 900SS, Ducati began to refine its designs, improving the ergonomics and overall reliability of the bike. The 900SS's styling featured a sleek, aggressive design, with sharp lines and bold Ducati branding that appealed to the aesthetic tastes of riders. The 900SS became known as a true representation of Ducati's racing heritage, combining high-performance engineering with unmistakable Italian style and it remains a sought-after model for collectors and motorcycle enthusiasts due to its historical significance and timeless appeal. L951 KVV was acquired as part of a private collection, and has been kept on display in good conditions, but has not been used, and will therefore require careful re-commissioning and safety checks if it is to return to the road with a new owner, hence sold strictly as viewed. Documents include a current V5C, the warranty / service booklet, some invoices, and a quantity of expired mots. The engine turns. Offered with key.
