Garaged for its entire life, the Diamond White paint still shines with the lustre of the gem after which it was named and is totally original throughout, factory fresh. Likewise all light units, badges and locks, all matching from its build date.
The 15” RS Cosworth alloy wheels, whilst standard, have recently been refurbished to restore the glory days of old and are presently absolutely unmarked, wearing Toyo Proxes TR1 tyres all round, all with over 7mm of tread remaining.
Moving inside and placing yourself in the black leather Recaro driver’s seat, you’re left with the resounding impression you’ve been thrown decades back in time. Everything, from the leather-trimmed 3-spoke steering wheel, through to all plastics, touchpoint and even the plastic screen shielding the dial binnacle, appears new, retaining the lovely satin sheen that you’ll only see on the lowest mileage examples. The original radio also features the upgraded amplifier system, with adjustments for the balance and fade of whatever 90s beats you’re kicking out. Beyond the smallest amount of wear to the driver’s seat side bolster, the condition of this Cosworth’s interior can not be overstated, it is truly time-warp.
Although the original book pack and wallet is sadly missing, the vast history file retains the individual Sierra Owner’s Manual, Ford Audio book and service history booklet.
In summary this 4wd cossie serves as a glorious throwback to the 90s and with thanks to a life time of care and a heated garage its ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
