R16 SUPER dated 22 October 1966, Vintage 1967, in its original colour with its BORDEAUX 721. This almost 60 year old granny is in very good condition, starts right up and drives like a dream. With its mechanical 4 speed gearbox, it's easy to discover (or rediscover?) another very pleasant way of driving. The central armrest has been refurbished, the window seals and windscreen have been replaced, and a number of mechanical parts have been changed. The car still has its original jack and crank, and I've added a battery isolator for added comfort.
A special feature of this first series model from the end of 66 is that it has no seatbelts, which would only become compulsory a few years later. The technical inspection has been passed and is valid until January 2027, so even if it doesn't yet have a collector's licence, it can easily pass it, allowing you to drive in the ZFEs.
