Description
Since life is all about evolution, I'm selling my 1962 Austin Healey MKII BT7 to finance my next acquisition. Purchased in 2019, it comes in the emblematic sky blue and ivory white livery (old white English) so typical of this Big Healey, with navy blue leather interior.
This is a late-series MKII, so it has the MKIII transmission with its much easier-to-handle 4-speed gearbox. It has been fully restored by the previous owner (bare chassis, engine, upholstery, soft top, tonneau cover). I had the bumpers removed to give it a more aggressive look (supplied with the car). After buying it, I invested €10, 000 to improve it (invoices available), including an additional fan to cool down the engine. And recently, before putting it up for sale, I changed the radiator, the aluminium fuel tank, the fuel pump and the oil pump, and rebuilt the carburettors. In 5 years, we've toured France together without any problems. The car can be seen in Courbevoie (92).
