Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 3D
The Sierra RS Cosworth was released in 1986 as a homologation special and was the first Ford to be honoured the iconic ‘Cosworth’ badge. A true 1980s performance icon.
This lovely RS Cosworth on offer was imported from Germany to Finland in 1997 and was stored in a warm garage without road use until it was purchased by its current owner in 2016, the reason for it being stored for nearly 19 years was that the owner never registered it due to the high registration taxes.
According to the German paperwork there were two owners in Germany, now in Finland one owner that never used the car and only stored it, and the current owner.
Speedometer reading is just under 20 000 km, there are no documents to verify the milage but judging by its condition and lack of use we estimate it to be 120 000 km.
A light restoration was carried out in 2017 due to the car being in storage for so long, which included some of the following.
• Mechanical seals changed.
• New lights.
• New Brakes.
• New suspension.
• Full respray.
• Old removed parts that were replaced are still available.
• All original body panels still fitted.
Only been driven around 4000 km since and still in fantastic condition, also now registered as a Finnish museum vehicle.
