For sale, Volkswagen Beetle "Beach Buggy" in Blue (1972).
Here we have for sale a Volkswagen Beach Buggy which is MOT & Tax Exempt. Has a MOT without advisories until 20th May 2026 despite not requiring one.
This was purchased "for a bit of fun" and what you see is what you get - it was bought unseen, but unfortunately the person it was bought for has the longest legs on the planet and it is just not built for him, which is a real shame as it was purchased from an elderly gent and his son who had built it together and had fun with it.
It runs, drives and stops and that is about as far as we have got with it. From our brief inspection it seems to be quite well sorted.... there is a hazard warning switch that you pull out, and it works. The lights work and the dash binnacle lights up and the little blue light works on full beam.... all that sort of stuff.
To the untrained eye, it just looks like a well sorted beach buggy and the wild paintwork is in good condition too. We are not VW Buggy experts and so it is really important that whoever decides to go for this, does understand that it hasn't been a daily driver and that we haven't used it extensively. For that reason alone, we can't provide a warranty on it, but if you have a look at the photos I am sure you will draw your own conclusions. If you wish to view, you are welcome to do so from Mon-Fri during working hours, but there is no opportunity to view at weekends or collect outside of our usual hours, as it is stored at the work premises.
V5c is present, with a small amount of previous MOT history. Registered historic and so does not need any applications making - it is good to enjoy straight away. Will be ideal for the upcoming summer weather.
