This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at Shuttleworth - Summer 2025 on Sunday the 20th of July, Shuttleworth, Old Warden Park, Beds, SG18 9EP .
The 'Norvin', basically a Norton frame combined with a Vincent engine, was very much inspired by the fictional Bike magazine character, Ogri
The Norton frame was known as probably the best handling frame in period and was particularly popular with builders of 'Café Racers'
This example is built around a 1962 Norton Dominator 'featherbed' frame using a 1951 Vincent Series C Comet engine
Presented in good overall condition
Part of a deceased estate and will require completing before road use
Engine confirmed correct and original by the VOC with matching crank case numbers and correct engine number out of a 1951 Vincent Comet
Engine was running before build
Fitted with a 'Manx' aluminium tank and seat unit
Missing its clutch and will need gearbox aligning before road-use
Complete with Dating Certificate and some other related paperwork. UK-registered on a current V5C
