Classic Car Design offers you this beautiful 1972 Porsche 911 2. 4 T (TE base), the famous and sought-after "oil trap" version. It has benefited from a complete, high-quality restoration.
Externally, the car has no dents and virtually no scratches. Overall, the paintwork has been well applied, is tight and shiny. The fit and finish is very good for a 911 Classic. Most of the chrome and wheel trims are in very good condition. The Fuchs wheels are in good condition. Structurally, the underbody, floor and wheel arches are in very good condition. Inside, the original restored steering wheel in front of the emblematic five VDO meters and the bucket seats are immediately noticeable. The overall look of the interior is superb, as it has been largely refurbished. The carpet is new and well fitted. There's a modern car radio with a vintage look. Apart from the seats, the car is in its original configuration. Mechanically, 911 TEs are fitted with fuel injection as standard, but they are often converted to carburettors for European 'T' configuration. This is the case with this one, which is fitted with two new Weber 40 IDA 3C carburettors. The engine recently underwent work at Porsche Classic in Rouen at a cost of over €15, 000. The famous flat 6 starts and runs very well. It is the correct 911/ 51 type and its number is between 6120001 and 6129000, the numbers allocated to the 72 TE. The gears shift well, and the suspension and brakes are as good as new. There's no noise or vibration when driving. The car is really very pleasant to drive and, thanks to the restoration, looks as good as new. This 911 offers the driving experience you'd expect from a classic 911.
