Introduced in 1978, the CX500 was a firm favourite and regular sight in London in the 1980s as the couriers' favourite and was affectionately known as the 'Plastic Maggot'
More recently, they have become popular with Specials builders and this example has been lightly customised into a Flat Tracker-style and runs and rides very well
Fitted with Renthal handlebars, panniers, a new seat and shod with a good set of Avon Trail Rider tyres
Various parts have benefited from fresh powder-coating, including the Black Satin rocker covers (receipt present)
Supplied with some older invoices and its current V5 with the bike classed as Historic and consequently is MOT-exempt
