The Fiat Panda 141 is the first-generation Panda, internally referred to as Type 141, and was one of Fiat’s most successful and innovative models. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and launched in 1980, the Panda was envisioned as a "modern-day Citroën 2CV" – an affordable, utilitarian vehicle for the masses.
It featured a boxy, minimalist design, easy maintenance, and an interior that prioritized function over frills. Its flat panels and simple layout made it cheap to produce, repair, and adapt – traits that helped it remain in production for an astonishing 23 years.
Production of the Panda Type 141 finally ended after over 4. 5 million units were built.
This late model CVT-equipped 1108cc version is now extremely rare in the UK or Ireland.
