Description
AMILCAR CGS ovh DELMER & RENOULT culbuté With only 4 AMILCAR "Delmer Renoult" (DR) engines recorded in the world (*) , this fast and lively CGS makes it a rare car that will seduce you. This tumbled engine, modified by the Amilcar racing department, has won numerous hill-climb races and Km runs with drivers such as Scaron and Jeuffrain. The period patent of the 2 engineers from the racing department, Mr Delmer and Mr Renoult, guarantees that it is 35% faster than the side-mounted engine. My experience compared with my CGS3 proves this. Mr Delmer and Mr Renoult were later the creators of the CGS3. Renoult were then the creators of the exceptional 8-cylinder ROBUR (see Gilles FOURNIER book, page 54). This engine, entirely rebuilt by Provence Moteur, is of very high quality and reliable (Vilo and Phoenix reinforced connecting rods, bushes, dished pistons made to measure in the USA, long camshaft, fitting of an oil filter, new clutch and flywheel, new timing system....( photos and invoices), vehicle still being run in. Good experience at the last Amilcar rally in Corsica last October and at the international Amilcar rally in Castres in June. Normal registration - technical inspection done - visible in BOURGOGNE The bodywork was restored in the 80s. Original woodwork, 3 speed gearbox, differential. Blockley 1000km tyres. Large drums on 19 inch wheels. Marchal headlights Fully functional dashboard components. 12 volts and starter. New cylinder head gasket cover supplied as an extra. Lively and elegant car for small or tall drivers. Appraisal file available on site (*) 4 DR engines known in the world: One in Australia + 2 in England including one compressed on a CGS converted into a single-seater.
Price on request WHEREAS YOU HAVE READ THIS far, you seem to be interested and don't seem to be one of those little swindlers who don't know anything about cyclecars but just like to try to make transfers from abroad the day before a weekend, to envisage a transporter being sent to collect the car at the weekend, to buy without seeing it. NO: a cyclecar, you come and see it, you try it out, you talk cyclecars with the seller beforehand, YOU TAKE YOUR TIME.... if that's not the case.... passez votre chemin. Genuine buyers won't be offended by this paragraph......
