1964 Jensen CV8 Roadster, The car that Jensen should have built? This car has had a full nut and bolt bare Chassis rebuild over the last 12 years. The main components are all standard specification and either restored or replaced with new. The body has been modified and shortened to make this 2+2 Convertible. Now driven about 1000 miles since finished. Rebuilt Engine, Gearbox, Back Axle, Shock absorbers, Radiators Brake calipers etc. New Springs, Carb, wiring loom, Leather Upholstery, Carpets, Hood.
Fitted with a Mk. 3 Walnut Dashboard, Headlight covers to improve the controversial front end. Some spare parts and a set of 16 inch steel wheels. A powerful well mannered sports grand tourer. Lots of power and good brakes (For the era) This car is totally unique, Jensen built 1 convertible which was stretched and we owned it and sold it to a private collection. The fastest production 4 seat car in the world in its day, the CV8 has stunning performance with its 361 Chrysler V8 leaving its rivals in its dust, it also offers great comfort, effortless cruising and above all rarity. Only about 500 were built and this is the only 2+2 Roadster!
