Description
The Jensen C-V8 is regarded by many enthusiasts as the last “true” Jensen – designed by the Jensen brothers themselves, it offered seating for four, superb craftsmanship, and a mighty 6. 4-litre Chrysler V8 that gave it performance to rival the Lamborghini Miura.
The MkIII represented the ultimate evolution of the model, with a lower, leaner body and a series of improvements including a dual-circuit braking system, distinctive staggered headlamps, and refined walnut interior trim. At the time, the motoring press declared that it offered “just about the most exciting performance available in a saloon car anywhere in the world.”
Chassis number 112/ 2404 was built at Jensen’s West Bromwich factory and delivered new on 2nd February 1966. It left the factory finished in Deep Carriage Green with a beige leather interior.
Today, this C-V8 is a complete car but requires a full restoration. It represents an ideal project for a discerning enthusiast who wishes to return this rare and historic British GT to its former glory, while adding their own personal stamp to the finished result.
With over 50 years of experience, Cropredy Bridge Cars also represents an unparalleled level of expertise in restoring these beautiful cars.
