Under the hood, the Firebird has been technically and visually upgraded: chrome-plated valve covers and engine parts, an Edelbrock carburetor with intake spider, aluminum fan manifolds and a reinforced oil pump ensure better performance and reliability. The brake booster has also been reinforced, which noticeably improves driving safety.
