Madness US offers you in its showroom this superb 1966 Ford Mustang Coupé from California. This Mustang was imported by us and fully restored in the Madness US workshops in France. The car was completely dismantled to expose the bodywork, which was treated and repainted in metallic black, and the underpinnings were also treated and repainted in the original orange. For a look that we wanted to Restomod, Shelby look parts were added during the restoration: the fibre bonnet, the side scoops and the open front apron. A GT rear apron with integrated tailpipes was also added. This Ford Mustang Coupé was also fitted with a new engine block: a 302 ci V8, or 5 litres of displacement. We fitted a Weiand intake pipe and an Edelbrock four-barrel carburettor. To expel the gases, our workshop fitted 4/ 2/ 1 manifolds and a Magnaflow twin exhaust system. An MSD electronic ignition with red spark plug wires was also fitted for improved carburation. For the looks of this new engine, we chose chrome rocker covers and a chrome K&N air filter. Naturally, all the parts used are new. The interior of this Mustang Coupé has also been revised by the Madness US workshop team. New Pony upholstery in Parchment colour has been fitted, along with new carpeting and a matching new headliner. The door panels are also Deluxe models. Finally, a Grant wood and aluminium steering wheel has been fitted.
