1983 Mini Austin
Its 1000cc carburetted engine, full of pep, will take you on pleasant spins, where roundabouts are just little chicanes, but speed bumps a genuine small obstacle. Its small sporty look earns the warmth of both young and old, its central exhaust has a nice note and invites a bit of spirited driving, but hey, 42 hp isn’t exactly a sports car either!
The interior is very well preserved, obviously no air conditioning, not many options, just the pleasure of old-school driving.
This is a car for regular use; unfortunately I no longer have time to enjoy it, and it’s looking for a new owner who will take good care of it.
It has just come back from a service, and has a record of invoices.
