BackgroundOn 28 September 1994, British automaker Land Rover unveiled the second generation of its iconic Range Rover, marking a significant evolution 24 years after the debut of the original Range Rover Classic. The new model arrived with notable upgrades, including a refined version of the Rover V8 engine and the option of a 2. 5-litre BMW six-cylinder turbodiesel.
Designed to meet rising demand in the premium SUV segment, the second generation Range Rover introduced enhanced equipment levels and upscale trim options. With these improvements, Land Rover strategically positioned the vehicle above the Discovery in its line-up, aiming to compete more aggressively in an increasingly competitive global market.
The CarThis P38 rolled off the Solihull production line in 2001, finished in Java Black over a rare black interior, unusual, as most were trimmed in cream. The interior is immaculate and barely looks as though it has been used, with elegant wooden trims creating a refined and inviting cabin.
