Another masterpiece from Giugiaro’s design was originally produced in 1971 and critically acclaimed as one of the best driving hot hatches produced.
Many derivatives were built and by the 1980s Alfa had to keep up with the competition, and the power increased with this version so with only 800kg this meant a super fun car to drive.
Of course, build quality was always an issue and in the late 1980s built cars finally received better quality metal and rustproofing giving a chance of longevity if maintained correctly.
This beautiful example lived in Italy with only one owner until 2022 and I specifically imported it due to its originality , the preservation is vital in these hot climate examples and UK-used cars are not as original normally having had extensive restoration.
