Fantastic. A letter from the prior keeper . The time has come! My 72 Norton Commando Interstate is for sale due to continuing back problem. I purchased the bike from a friend in 2016 who had ran out of space. He in turn purchased the bike from Classic Bikes Sussex in July 2015. I have the MOTs and the bike originates from the Laindon area of Essex. The paper work with the receipt at that time states the following The Commando was last on the road over two years ago. Its done 800 miles since restoration so take it easy for 200 more, oil change and tighten down the bike was not ridden until I purchased and had a full assessment by a Norton specialist. I have the full report. In short the bike is very straight complete and in good running order, it usually starts first kick. It has matching engine and frame numbers and as the paper suggests has been fully restored at some point.
