Ferrari 328 GTB
A total of 7, 412 Ferrari 328 cars were produced, but only 1, 344 in GTB (Berlinetta) configuration. The cars were built from 1985 to 1989, with some changes introduced over the years. The biggest visual change came in 1987 when ABS brakes were introduced, which forced Ferrari to redesign the wheels to a more convex style.
Exterior: This 1985 Ferrari 328 GTB was sold new at a time when money came easily and people were looking for ways to spend it. I believe it was the first time in Ferrari history that you could order a car and sell the contract just a few months later for a significant profit. Perhaps that is what happened with this car. Somebody bought it as an investment and never intended to drive it. Today it shows just over 6, 000 km from new. No section of the car has ever been repainted, and the paint remains as perfect as one could expect from a Ferrari 328 GTB in 1985. It is free from stone chips, both in the front and in the wheel arches, and it still wears its original tires. In other words, a true collector’s dream find.
Interior:
When you open the door, the smell of a new yet vintage Ferrari 328 GTB greets you. The black leather is soft and supple. The plastic protection is still on the small chrome plate by the gas pedal. Carpets in these cars usually wear quickly due to the sliding maneuver required to get in and out, but in this car they still look like new. Every detail is perfect, with not even a scratch on the small panel between the seats. The headliner and cloth-covered area by the rear screen are also completely free from stains. The Ferrari 328 GTB features a small luggage area behind the engine, about the size of a golf bag.
Engine and Mechanics: This car has spent most of its life under cover, so if you plan to drive it, a proper service will be required. The car has been started occasionally to bring it up to temperature, and fluids have been changed over the years, but it still appears to be on its original tires. Mechanically, everything works perfectly.
History: This Ferrari 328 GTB is from the 1985 production year, with a delivery date of January 1986 to Crepaldi Automobili in Milan. The exterior color is Rosso Corsa. The car was later brought to the U. K., and in 2019 it received Ferrari Classiche certification. It finally made its way to Sweden in 2021, where it now holds Swedish registration documents.
