Description
The Mercedes-Benz W113 series was produced from 1963 to 1971. In total, about 48, 912 units were made. The W113 replaced the R121 in 1963 and was succeeded by the R107 in 1971. Lead designers were Paul Bracq and Béla Barényi.
The W113 series, also known as the Pagoda, was offered in three engine options, the 230, 250 and 280. This car was originally delivered in the United States as a 250SL with the optional automatic transmission. The car later made its way back to Europe where it was fully restored about ten years ago. A photo report of this restoration exists.
