The DS was designed by stylist Flaminio Bertoni, from the factory design office. One encounters the unbridled imagination of engineers freely designing this car, liberated from any constraint imposed by marketing. The aerodynamically styled bodywork is outdated today, but in 1955 it seemed straight out of the year 2000.
