History: Bought in the USA by the owner who carried out the restoration, the car was stripped and fully restored as soon as it arrived in France.
Condition:
The car is in perfect condition.
Exterior: The bodywork is perfectly sound. The paint shows no defect, as do the wheels, bumpers, and all exterior chromework of the car.
Interior: Inside, the cognac leather upholstery is new, as are the central fabric sections of the seats. The headlining is also new. The original steering wheel has been replaced with a Nardi wheel which is in perfect condition.
Mechanical: The engine has been completely rebuilt. The owner chose to install Weber double-body carburettors taken from a Super 90 engine. This modification gives the engine extra power and adds real driving dynamics to this 356.
The gear box operates perfectly; gears shift smoothly without crunching.
Undercarriage: No signs of rust or any deformation to the subframes.
