Classic Car Design presents you with this monstrous Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, in the "narrow body" version. It’s a true muscle car that pays homage to its 70s forebear, the 440 R/ T for Road and Track.
Externally, it’s first and foremost an imposing size, almost intimidating! This example wears the "Destroyer" grey complemented by a side graphic featuring the feline head, symbol of this version (these are stickers, so removable if needed). The whole car is in very good condition.
Inside, it’s a mix of sportiness and comfort. One could imagine it more Spartan, but ultimately this cabin is quite welcoming! The black leather and suede upholstery is enhanced by the "guilloché aluminium" trim and is in perfect condition. For a sports car, the equipment is lavish: touchscreen, Uconnect system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, heated seats, Harman Kardon audio system with subwoofer, adaptive cruise control, configurable driving modes, rear camera, fold-down bench, remote start…
Mechanically, under the hood you’ll find a huge 6. 2L supercharged V8 with hemispherical heads of over 700 hp. A funny detail: you access maximum power and the sportiest settings only with the red keys; the black key limits to 500 hp! The 8‑speed gearbox with steering-wheel paddles is very efficient. The handling is impressive thanks to the adaptive dampers and the limited-slip differential, though you’ll want to accelerate mainly in a straight line! We naturally enjoy a sound that is both throaty and aggressive through the valve-equipped exhaust.
In conclusion, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is a perfect fusion of brute performance, neo-retro style and comfort. It’s aimed at those who love to stand out and adrenaline… and all this in Crit’Air 1 for the more eco among us! Lol!
