Very nice Mercedes 280 SE of type W116, delivered in France on 22/ 06/ 1977 and possessing its full history.
The condition of this 280 SE is remarkable: only the boot has been repainted, everything else is in its original paint (code 404 G Marron Milan). The chassis is sound, with no corrosion.
This Mercedes has had three owners:
• First owner: 22/ 06/ 1977 to 30/ 08/ 2005
• Second owner: 30/ 08/ 2005 to 28/ 02/ 2021
• Third owner: until October 2025
Certified mileage of 181, 000 km is supported by its service book and logbook as well as its technical inspections.
Noting that this is a car that has always been regularly serviced (see the interventions below). In nearly 50 years, our Mercedes has covered on average 3, 800 km per year.
A major overhaul was carried out in 2024 at 178, 823 km, including:
engine oil change, gearbox and differential, filters, spark plugs, valve cover and sump gaskets, replacement of all four discs and brake pads, gear lever bushing, tyres, windscreen, radiator repair, new wiring loom, etc.
The interior, also original, is in perfect condition, as can be seen in the photos.
Among the options, note the presence of power windows at the front and rear (code 584), and a rare electric sunroof.
Thanks to its inline six developing 185 hp, paired with a 4-speed automatic, this Mercedes 280 SE can undertake long journeys in safety and absolute comfort.
