The car was new to the United States and exported to the Netherlands 29 years ago. Twenty-six years ago this Mercedes was purchased by a German car enthusiast who is now parting with his pride after more than a quarter of a century. He had the car completely restored by a specialist workshop in Düsseldorf during 2001-2002. This W111 has been driven regularly in good weather. The car is technically and aesthetically in good overall condition.
