This 2021 UK example comes complete with the Competition Package and has covered just 3, 017 miles from new. The bike is supplied with two keys and the Data Tool Stealth S5 security system, it also has the handbook/ service book showing 2 dealer stamps. We will also carry out a service and MOT prior to sale.
The M1000RR is BMW’s equivalent to Ducati’s Panigale V4R – a homologation special, designed to meet WSBK rules offering increased performance and race-tuning potential compared to the normal S1000RR. It’s now rated at 212bhp and 195mph with race-inspired weight loss, suspension and aerodynamics to create a package that comes in at a mere 169kg. In short it’s the most potent street-legal production bike BMW has ever made.
The impressive standard specification includes, Windshield high, BMW Motorrad ABS and ABS Pro, 7 riding modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race, Race Pro 1-3) Pit-Lane-Limiter, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) Hill Start Control, Pro Dynamic Brake Control, Gearshift Assist Pro, Shift Assist Pro, 6. 5" M-sport customised TFT-Display, LED-Headlight, Rearlight and Indicators, Heated Grips, Cruise Control, M Lightweight Battery and M Chassis Kit with rear height adjustment and swingarm pivot.
The Competition Package (which was a £4, 100 cost option) includes the the activation code that allows comprehensive data logging to be downloaded via the bike’s OBD port, software for a GPS lap timer and an array of milled alloy parts including levers and footrests, the ‘M’ carbon package and a 220g lighter swingarm as well as the firm’s newly-released M-Endurance DLC coated chain.
