The original Scott Flying Squirrel was launched in 1926 and production ran until 1940
Even with TT success in 1929, the model experienced slow sales and production waned
This 'Birmingham' Scott is presented in 'garage find' condition having being stored in a garage for last 50 years
In 'race trim' and showing signs of being raced or sprinted over the years
Was purchased by Marriotts Motorcycles in Birkenhead over 50 years ago and has been on display and in storage since then
Never started or used since purchase so will require recommissioning or restoring before use
History unknown and complete with an old invalid V5 with correct engine number but incorrect frame number
Frame appears to have been re-stamped
Fabulous patina and in good overall external condition
Great restoration project or simply recommission and ride as is
