1951 RUMI 125 T
The Rumi 125 Turismo is a highly regarded, lightweight Italian motorcycle
produced by Moto Rumi between 1950 and 1956.
Known for its elegant design and reliable performance,
it was the first motorcycle model produced by the Bergamo-based company,
which shifted from manufacturing wartime submarine and torpedo components to civilian transportation.
Engine: The heart of the machine is a 125cc parallel-twin two-stroke engine with horizontally opposed cylinders. Designed by Pietro Vassena, this engine is known for its distinct, high-pitched sound, often described as "tearing calico".
Power & Speed: The standard Turismo produced 6 horsepower (later models/ variants produced more) and achieved a top speed of 90 km/ h (approx. 56 mph).
Old restoration but in Excellent condition, The bike is UK registered with a V5.
