A complete remastering by the team here at Retro. Started as a 1995 Defender 90, and is now a full-custom Retro Ragtop build finished in Deep Bronze Green.
The engine is a 5. 7L Small Block V8, paired with a manual gearbox and LT230 transfer box, both rebuilt by Hobson Industries. The steering box has been fully reconditioned, and new front and rear brakes and brake lines fitted. Sat on adjustable On Air Low Rider air suspension with Fox shock absorbers.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Driftwood leather across the front seats, dashboard, and two side-facing rear bench seats. The front seats feature a classic fluted design. The rear tub has an Iroko hardwood floor finished with black caulking, and the seat box and bulkhead are soundproofed. The floors are Raptored and painted in Deep Bronze Green. An XL padded cubby box houses a removable Marshall Kilburn II speaker, with a wood & chrome Momo Super Grand Prix steering wheel and series shift knobs completing the classic feel.
There is a removable galvanised stickset and a khaki ragtop, with Series doors with removable tops for open-air driving.
Exterior details include colour-coded 18" steel wheels in Deep Bronze Green, colour-coded wheel arches and door hinges, fold-up colour-coded side steps, and Series wing mirrors. A Retro stainless steel grille, galvanised front bumper, and grilles. LED headlights with colour-coded Series bezels, and a classic bonnet with wheel carrier complete the exterior. This is a left-hand drive build.
