Fitted with a long gear lever compared to later cars, these series 1 cars were retrospectively nicknamed ‘leva lunga’ in Italy. Powered by an 80 horsepower 1216 cc DOHC V-four engine the light and compact Fulvia coupe offers a lively and enjoyable driving experience only to be found in compact Italian Coupé cars. Not only the driving experience is ‘Italian’, also the design breathes the passion for beauty of design and engineering of the Italians. Lancia was renowned for their inventiveness and groundbreaking engineering.
