Exceptional restoration

BMW Certificate
Delivered new in March 1938 to the BMW importer of Switzerland, CA Drenowatz in Zurich
All previous owners are documented from 1948 onwards. The BMW was in Italian-speaking Switzerland until 1951 and afterwards had several owners in Zurich and St. Gallen.
In 2004, the current owner acquired the BMW and brought it back to his home country of Germany.
The car was in good, used condition at that time. He drove it for several more years until he began a complete restoration in 2012.
Neither time nor money was a limiting factor. Only leading workshops specializing in these vehicles were selected, and extensive research was conducted. The goal was maximum authenticity.
In total, it took 10 years for the BMW 327 to shine again in its original glory. We have countless photos and invoices documenting the work.
Even the manual and tool set are original!
As was correct for the time, the sports convertible also has a 6V electrical system, the Hurdt gearbox, and the central locking wheels often ordered in Switzerland.
A truly special BMW 327 with exceptional details and fantastic charisma.
The BMW has German registration on a vintage car license plate.
