The Ford Shelby GT350 Fastback represents one of the most distinctive and desirable iterations of the Shelby Mustang lineage, combining purposeful styling with proven V8 performance. Built at Dearborn, Michigan, the 1969 model year marked a further evolution of the Shelby concept, with revised styling, increased comfort and strong performance credentials, ensuring its place amongst the most recognisable American muscle cars of the era.
Powered by the optional 351ci (5. 8-litre) 4-valve V8 producing 290bhp, the GT350 offered a compelling balance of usability and performance. This specification delivers the characteristic torque and drivability expected of a Shelby, whilst remaining well suited to both road use and collection. Production numbers were limited, with just 953 GT350 Fastbacks built for 1969, underlining the model’s rarity today.
