Description
The 488 Pista represented the ultimate evolution of Ferrari's mid-engined twin-turbo V8 platform at the time of its launch in 2018. Following the lineage established by the 360 Challenge Stradale, 430 Scuderia, and 458 Speciale, the Pista took a significant step further in both power and aerodynamic sophistication. The 3. 9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, derived directly from Ferrari's 488 GTE and 488 Challenge competition cars, produces 710 bhp with peak power delivered between 6, 750 rpm and the 8, 000 rpm limiter. Aerodynamic revisions and extensive weight reduction see the car approximately 90 kg lighter than the standard 488 GTB, while downforce is increased by 20% with no drag penalty.
This UK-supplied, single owner example was delivered new on the 1st of September 2020 via H. R. Owen Ferrari, finished in Grigio Silverstone 740 with a special request two-tone livery featuring external stripes and edges in Argento Nurburgring with a central stripe in Grigio Silverstone.
