Exterior / Body:
The model presented here is an ASTON MARTIN V8 Vantage 4. 3L from September 2007 in its original “Onyx Black” colour (Matching colour).
The body is in excellent condition, with no signs of impact or corrosion.
The paint has a deep hue and excellent gloss.
After a professional polish performed with an orbital polisher by our workshop, we noted a very slight stone chipping on the front face, some micro-scratches, and two minor cosmetic defects corrected on the right front wing and the boot lid (0. 5 cm).
The bumpers are perfectly aligned and in very good condition, notably thanks to the front and rear parking aids.
We noted a light scuff mark at the bottom of the right front bumper.
The four original 19’’ wheels are in good condition despite some minor scuffs.
The four Hankook S1 Evo 2 tires show wear of less than 10% at the front and rear.
This example comes with its original run-flat kit and a extinguisher located in the boot.
Among the exterior equipment and options this car has, we note: front and rear parking aids, 19’’ 7-spoke wheels, and brake calipers in “Light Grey”.
Interior:
The interior remains in its original configuration and is presented in excellent condition.
The leather upholstery is electrically adjustable, in “Obsidian Black” with matching stitching, in excellent condition with no tears or creasing, save for light patina from getting in and out on the driver's side.
This car is equipped with electrically heated seats, which work perfectly.
The door panels are in excellent condition.
We note some traces of ingress and micro-scratches at the door thresholds.
The Alcantara headliner in “Light Grey” is taut and free of defects.
The dashboard and its leather cap in “black” are in good original condition.
The central trim shows no cracks, scratches or distortion.
All original instruments and comfort equipment are fully functional.
The steering wheel, in perforated leather, is free of scratches or discoloration.
In addition to the original alarm, this car is fitted with an additional anti-theft device with a hidden stop button in the cabin.
The carpets in “Black” are in excellent original condition with no rips or wear.
Among the interesting interior features and options, we note: electrically adjustable upholstery with matching stitching, heated seats, the Premium CD Audio System, Europe colour navigation, air conditioning and the extra anti-theft device.
Chassis:
Drop-test confirms a solid shell with no visible accident damage or structural corrosion.
The main structural elements (long members, floor, sills and wheel arches) are in excellent condition.
The flat undertray and rear diffuser show no cracks or deformations.
Reservation of use: by principle we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond their good visual and functional condition validated during road test and post-lift.
During the dynamic test, we detected no abnormal rattles from the body or suspension components (ball joints, bushings, etc.).
Braking is balanced, stable and progressive, with no vibrations or unusual noises.
Front brake discs show 40% wear.
Front brake pads show 30% wear.
Rear discs and pads show 30% wear.
The technical inspection performed by our workshop prior to delivery will confirm proper operation of the whole.
Engine / Transmission:
The original service book and available invoices confirm dealer-servicing at ASTON MARTIN and by marque specialists (Total: €4, 201).
This car will receive a “small service” (engine oil change + filter) carried out in our workshops before delivery.
The V8 starts promptly and idle is stable as confirmed by the 360° video with the engine running, available at the start of the slideshow.
The road test by our workshop confirms a healthy engine.
Once up to temperature, the engine revs smoothly with no hiccups or suspicious noises.
The six gears of the manual box shift up and down easily, with no issues, particularly with the syncros.
The clutch take-up is good.
As is typical with older engines, the engine-to-transmission seal is only average.
