The model presented here is a January 1965 Corvette Stingray in its original colour “Milano Maroon Metallic MM” (matching color) equipped with a rare and sought-after option: the original hard top.
The fiberglass body is in good condition.
After a professional polish performed on the orbital polisher in our workshop, we noted a small paint chip and a fine crack on the driver's door, a rub mark on the rear valance and on the right rear wing edge, as well as a scratch.
We also noted a few small paint chips corrected around the canvas cap, wing, and right rear light.
The blue gradient windshield is in good condition.
The chrome bumper is perfectly aligned and in excellent condition. The chromes show no oxidation.
The chrome CHEVROLET mirrors are also near‑new.
The PVC soft top in white is in good condition, with no tears or fading.
Its fitting is easy and its waterproofing complies with era standards.
The rear window mica is perfectly translucent.
This example is equipped with a rare option: the original hard top in colour “Milano Maroon Metallic MM.”
This is in good cosmetic condition and positions easily. Its waterproofing complies with era standards.
The retractable headlamps function perfectly and show no cracks or sealing issues.
The 4 15’’ steel wheels and original VET wheel trims are also in excellent condition.
These are fitted with 4 whitewall tyres with wear under 10% at the front and 20% at the rear.

During dynamic testing we observed no abnormal noises from the body or suspension components (linkages, bushings, etc.).
Braking is balanced and aligned, with performance per era standards.
Front and rear discs show wear under 30%.
Front and rear pads wear under 20%.
A roadworthiness check carried out by our workshop prior to delivery will confirm proper operation of the whole system.
Engine / Transmission:
The mechanics operate perfectly.
Carburation and ignition were overhauled and the 8 spark plugs replaced in 2024 (invoice €1, 116).
Compression tests and road test by our workshop confirm an engine in excellent health.
The V8 starts immediately, with no smoke or unusual noises, and idle is stable as confirmed by the 360° video with the engine running available at the start of the slideshow.
When warmed up, revs rise smoothly without jerks or smoke.
Oil pressure cold is 45 psi at 1000 rpm.
The automatic transmission was renovated in 2020 (invoice €2, 333).
The 3 gears up and down through without anomalies or excessive slipping.
Among the notable engine/ transmission equipment this example has: quadruple-barrel carburettor, aluminium Corvette valve covers, and chromed air filter housing.
As with many classic engines, the engine/ gearbox seals are still not perfect.
