Marque History
Built alongside the MG Sportscar range, the evocative sweeping lines of the ZA Magnette were designed by Gerald Palmer who was responsible for the equally striking Jowett Javelin, both very modern designs for the mid fifties. The ZA was the first to use the B-series engine fitted to the sportscar it was also one of the first British production cars to have a heater as standard. New car cost around a £1, 000! Those were the days.
