Exterior / Body:
The car presented here is a January 1991 348 TB in its original Rosso Corsa FER 300/ 9 colour (Matching colour).
The bodywork is in excellent show condition, with a uniform shade and excellent gloss.
After a professional polish with orbital, we noted a small paint chip repaired on the door and driver’s mirror, and a light scratch on the front face.
Front and rear bumpers are perfectly aligned and in good condition despite some tiny paint chips around the right rear bumper edge.
The front headlights are retractable and function perfectly with no cracks or sealing issues.
The electric mirrors are no longer functional.
The windscreen with the degraded Blu band is in good condition despite a small chip on the driver’s side.
This example is equipped with Ferrar i Scudetto decals on the front wings.
The 4 original 17” wheels are in perfect condition, with no dings or corrosion.
We noted only a few light rub marks on the rear wheel arches.
The 4 BRIDGESTONE tires show 40% wear at the front and 50% at the rear.
This car retains its original FERRARI tool kit.
Among the notable exterior features on this model are the degraded Blu windscreen and the Ferrar i Scudetto decals.
Interior:
The cabin is in very good presentation condition.
Beige leather upholstery shows uniform patina with some fine cracking.
The leather dashboard is also in very good condition, with no cracks, splits or tears.
Original VEGLIA onboard instrumentation is complete and fully functional.
The speedometer was replaced at a FERRARI centre in 2002 at 36, 343 km (invoice available).
The total mileage to date is 70, 834 km (36, 343 km + 34, 491 km).
The period air conditioning is no longer functional.
As with many of these models, the original electric windows are slow to operate.
The original Nero leather 3-spoke Ferrari steering wheel is in good condition, as is the Bakelite gear knob.
Beige carpets and Nero floor mats are in very good condition, with no discolouration or stains or wear.
Among the notable cabin equipment on this example are electric windows and beige leather upholstery.
Chassis:
Body-on-frame inspection confirms a sound shell, with no visible accident damage or structural corrosion.
The fundamentals—floor pans, rails, wheel arches and sills—are in excellent condition.
Reserve of play: we cannot guarantee absolute alignment beyond their good visual condition and road-test validated function.
The flat undertray is in good condition. The lower part of the front bumper shows light scuff marks typical of normal use.
During the dynamic test, no abnormal rattles were detected from the body or suspension components (joints, bushings, etc.).
Braking is stable, aligned and compliant with period standards, with no vibrations or abnormal noises.
Front discs wear is 20% and rear 30%.
Front brake pads wear 50% and rear 30%.
A pre-delivery technical inspection by our workshop will confirm full operability of the system.
Engine / Transmission:
This example comes with its original FERRARI service book and a dossier of invoices confirming regular servicing since 1999, at a FERRARI centre and with various marque specialists (total: €31, 141).
The mechanics are fully functional.
The V8 fires at the first turn of the key and idle is stable, as confirmed by the 360° video with the engine running available at the start of the slideshow..
Oil pressure read 6 bars at cold 1, 000 rpm.
Once up to temperature, idle is stable and the V8 revs up smoothly without hesitation or overheating.
Before delivery, our workshop will replace the timing kit (rollers + belts).
The V8 note is enhanced by the stainless steel TUBI STYLE exhaust (Invoice: €1, 790).
The 5-speed manual gearbox shifts smoothly, with good synchro, even when cold.
Clutch grip is excellent; the clutch and dual-mass flywheel were replaced at the FERRARI centre at 34, 881 km (invoice available).
This example is equipped with a battery disconnect.
As is often the case with older engines, engine/ gearbox sealing is average.
