The 1989 HONDA TRANSALP 600 V offered by **** Garage is a first-generation model produced from 1985 to 1989, first shown at the Paris Motor Show in 1986, the concept of a versatile bike, an indefatigable companion for any rider. Its success was instant; awe and curiosity ruled. Within six months of the show, sales exceeded 5, 000 units. An indestructible engine, 50 bhp, top speed 172. 2 km/ h, 0-100 km/ h in 5. 4 seconds, powerful, easy to handle, at both high and low speeds. Unique in its class; never before seen in those years a super off-roader so well conceived. A blend of Dakar, Enduro and Honda reliability.
Transalp was born in memory of an event from the 1970s, “The Rally Transalp” which started in Graz, Austria and finished in Monaco, more precisely in the principality of Monaco. It was perfect, with increased fairings, extended suspension and comfort exceptionally well thought out. The front mudguard wrapped the wheel, recessed indicators and what should not be underestimated, the vibrations… there were very few!
The model on display in our Showroom is exactly like that. *** its original colour scheme grey/ blue (one of the two colours available at the time) is immaculate in every part. Mechanical and powerplant excellent.
