The Porsche 911 SC “Weissach Series” was launched for the 1980 model year exclusively for the US market, in a limited production run of 400 examples. Buyers had to wait two years for their special model. The special Weissach Edition models came richly equipped. All vehicles have a front and rear spoiler, with additional fog lamps mounted in the front spoiler/ bumper. The spec was completed with Bilstein dampers, two exterior mirrors and an electric sunroof. In addition, 15-inch Fuchs wheels with a wheel centre painted in Platinum are included as standard. The exclusive interior features full leather in Doric Grey, with burgundy leather and red carpets.
Originally registered in California, this rare Porsche found its way back to Germany in 2015. Here, a Porsche professional had it restored and perfected in painstaking detail. The Porsche has been performance-optimised and features several technical improvements. This 911 was registered in Germany in 2018. The history is well documented over the 45 years.
