A left-hand drive example located in Portugal and offered in remarkably original condition.
Originally supplied new to a laundry company, this Golf Panel Van comes with its original purchase invoice dated October 1989, which is included in the sale. The vehicle has clearly benefited from careful ownership throughout its life and survives today as an increasingly rare example of Volkswagen’s commercial Golf variant.
Unlike many working vehicles that have been heavily modified, neglected or simply worn out, this example retains much of its original character. The bodywork presents well, the interior remains highly original, and the load area still features its original partition, cargo fittings and working-vehicle details that have survived the passing decades.
Particularly noteworthy is the vehicle’s authenticity. It still retains several original stickers and period documentation, while features such as the steel wheels, Blaupunkt radio, cargo divider and factory-style load compartment all contribute to its genuine and unspoilt appearance.
