The Triumph Trident T150V is one of the most significant British motorcycles of the early 1970s. It was the final major development of the original Trident triple before being replaced by the improved T160 in 1975
Produced from roughly 1973–1974, the T150V introduced two upgrades riders had been demanding, a 5-speed gearbox and a front disc brake
When the original Trident appeared in 1968, its 750cc three-cylinder engine was revolutionary for a British motorcycle. It was smoother and more powerful than the parallel twins that Triumph was known for. However, by the early 1970s, Japanese motorcycles such as the Honda CB750 were raising the bar
This matching numbers bike was built on 13/ 09/ 1973 and exported to the USA, where it lived until 2008 before returning here and has been in our vendor's possession ever since
This well-presented machine is supplied with a current V5C (correctly classed as Historic), a dating certificate from the Trident & Rocket 3 Owners Club confirming matching numbers and a number of old MOTs
A great opportunity to purchase a well presented example of Triumph's celebrated triple
