Offered for sale is this late Mercedes-Benz 420SL, presented in Arctic White over Middle Red interior. With it having low mileage for its age, the car has an excellent history most notably being previously owned by Chris Evans. This useable classic is becoming increasingly sought after by enthusiasts and it is clear to see why.
The exterior of the car is near perfect, considering the age, with very few marks on the bodywork. There is some slight bubbling on the offside rear arch. The rear bumper on the nearside has expanded which is a common issue on these cars. In addition, the driver's door has a few marks down the edge of the door. The soft top is in really good condition with only a few marks/ scratches on the plastic screen. The hard top is in perfect shape. The interior is equally as good with only a few points to note. These include, the handbrake cover is in a poor state but repair can be arranged if buyer desires. The original stereo was broken and has been replaced by a temporary system, again a more permanent solution can be discussed with buyer. There are more photos if required.
The car drives without fault. The engine is smooth and powerful, the brakes work perfectly and the gear change is slick. It is a very honest car.
