Description
The American car maker Studebaker started building electric cars in 1902. In the 1950s and 1960s it made headlines thanks to its design by Raymond Loewy. Production was halted in 1966 for financial reasons. The Champion was the affordable, lightweight model range from 1939 to 1958. The distinctive “bullet nose” was only reserved for the 1950 and 1951 model years. The car offered for sale has been restored by a Studebaker collector, but it was never driven. After a lengthy period of inactivity, the car has been brought back to life and is ready for a new owner. Its condition is excellent, with paintwork and interior like new.
