Description
The 1960 Cadillac DeVille features a coupe body style in Persian Sand trim. The 390 V8 engine is mated to an automatic transmission. Power steering and power brakes are original. The equipment includes electric windows, cruise control, automatic lighting with a dimmer, electric ventilated side windows, an electric trunk release, front seats that are electrically adjustable on six ways, a radio with a floor-mounted station selector, and a fully functioning electric antenna. Air conditioning is fitted but not operational, as the hoses need to be reconnected; the under-dashboard air compressor and the A/ C pump are included. The suspension has been converted from air springs to coil springs, although traces of the original system are still visible. The interior is trimmed in Plum cloth and leather. The original headlining, floor mats, fabric, and leather are preserved. Original plastic seat covers are still in place, with the driver’s cover showing the start of a tear. The dashboard is complete, with all warning lights functioning after replacement of the bulbs. Headlights, indicators, and brake lights work correctly. The odometer reads just over 37, 000 miles. The body shows no rust or corrosion on the structure or underside. A light scuff marks the lower sill on the passenger side. The front chrome has a scratch and a small area of pitting. The exterior paint appears to have been refinished, while the door sills and the interior of the trunk lid retain their original finish. The vehicle was originally sold in San Francisco, California, where it remained for the majority of its life before moving to Texas. A trunk label confirming this original sale location is included. The engine runs and the car rolls silently. A clean title in the seller’s name accompanies the vehicle. 1960 Cadillac DeVille Coupe plum cloth Listing date: 27/ 07/ 2026 | Provenance: Texas, United States. €62, 000 for this vehicle imported to France.
