Description
The Revuelto is the successor to the Aventador and the first Lamborghini with a hybrid drivetrain. The 6. 5 litre naturally aspirated V12 produces 825 ps at 9, 250 rpm and was rotated 180 degrees for the Revuelto, enabling a completely new exhaust system, a revised intake configuration and a dry sump lubrication system. Three electric motors bring combined output to 1, 015 ps. Two electric motors on the front axle handle torque vectoring and electric drive, while the third at the rear acts as starter motor and generator. The carbon fibre monocoque is extended with a front structure in Forged Composites, 9 kg lighter than the Aventador front frame.
Fun fact: the V12 is entirely new and not derived from the Aventador engine. Lamborghini rotated it 180 degrees and mounted the gearbox transversally behind the engine, allowing the electric motor to be integrated directly into the drivetrain.
